Local Entrepreneur Named Docent

Local entrepreneur, Julius Talton, has recently been named Entrepreneurial Docent for the Division of Business and Computer Information Systems. CCA Goes Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Concordia’s Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) is partnering with Selma’s domestic violence shelter, SABRA Sanctuary, to help put an end to domestic violence. With purple being the official color of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Division of SBS plans to “paint CCA purple” in an effort to support the cause and shine a light of hope to victims. ..Read More

Concordia Alumus Joins Selma Police Academy

police-student-2Former Concordia student Shaniquia Payne recently entered into the Selma Police Academy after graduating from Concordia’s first ever Criminal Justice cohort. The bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice was introduced to the CCA curriculum last fall. Payne is originally from Louisiana, and graduated from Concordia in May, 2016.
